James Perry

Consultant Solicitor – Conveyancing

T: 07594 294097 | E: jp@austenjonessolicitors.co.uk

James Perry is a solicitor with 17 years’ experience specialising in residential conveyancing across a broad range of transactions including freeholds and leaseholds, remortgages and transfers of equity, shared-ownership and Help-to-Buy transactions, as well as lease extensions and leasehold enfranchisement. He has also acted for developers in sales of new-builds and for investors buying off-plan with a view to subsales or assignment of contracts.

James has degrees in Classics (BA) and in Law (LLB) from Oxford & London Universities. He trained and qualified at a prominent firm of solicitors in Bristol before moving to Truro to indulge his passion for surfing along the north Cornish coast. James soon found that he missed London and returned after 18 months to join a traditional, long-established firm in Wimpole Street.

Always keen to find better ways to make conveyancing transactions faster and smoother, James has been searching for a firm that is ready to embrace the time-saving advantages offered by technology whilst maintaining timely and effective communications with clients and agents. He is confident that Austen Jones is exactly this type of firm – one that combines a flair for technological excellence whilst retaining a traditional quality ethos.

James will be very keen to hear from buyers, sellers and agents who share his objective of minimising the average time to completion for conveyancing transactions.
